Report
Seniors raced The traditional Emu Creek Gooseneck Circuit this Sunday.
Racing started in mild conditions with clouds looking like rain.  Andy
Summers lead the field solo off limit at 15 minutes.

The scratch markers went hard from the gun chasing the 2 minute group down before the Sedgewick Fire Station.  Once second scratch was caught the pace upped again with Joel Fahy racing like a scratchman pulling long hard turns.

The middle markers had caught Andy by the Axe Creek Telephone Exchange hill and the race was on with the Scratchies in site.  At the top of the
Telephone Exchange the scratchies looked to be in the box seat, but the
middle markers lead by Cameron Gillies and Tim Ralton powered ahead.  The
scratchies had a sniff and Marwood was putting out horsepower worthy of
carrying 56kg on Tuesday.  The middle markers held off scratch in the dying
moments of the race with Cameron Gillies taking the sprint for the line and
Kyle Marwood kicking like a Melbourne Cup Winner to beat Knox and Stoltz for fastest time honours.

Thank you to all Marshals Val and Des Beer, Rik McCaig, Brett Williams, Sam
Bastion and John Fahy.
