Ben Knight saluted the judges with his 1st placing in 12 months after an excellent sprint finish. Scratch burnt out after a very fast start, catching 2nd scratch by halfway. With 20 K’s to go the 17’s had a 25 second lead over the combined 14’s,11’s & 8’s. Then they got going. In the finish they had held off a large chasing bunch & put another50 seconds into them for good measure.
