Stoltz, Leske and Dynon Winners in the Wind
Jo Stoltz, Justin Leske and Paul Dynon all took the line honours after 7 gruelling laps on the lumpy Junortoun circuit. Attacks on Bennett’s Burg were the flavour of the day but the windy conditions made it difficult for escapee aspirants to do much damage. Patience proved to be the key to winning the uphill sprints for the line.

Sunday 16th November 9am: Summerset Park Graded Scratch Races
Marshals are Simon Bennett and Ash Harding. Enter by 8:45 so racing can start promptly at 9am.
Tom Southam rode to a solo victory on a windy lumpy Junortoun circuit on Sunday. Despite only a few minutes sleep and a night of heavy drinking Southam attacked the remaining five riders with two and half laps and about 15km to go and was simply too good. Today’s ride bodes well for the Pirate from Penzance; next weekend Southam will be trying to trump his gutsy ride around the streets of the Bendigo in October last year and take out the John McLean Criterium.
Wes Steel and Micah Leske were the winners in B and C Grade.
