Southam Blows the Field Away in Korean Warm-up
Course map for this weeks race: course map
A Grade
Torpedo Tom Southam hit the A Grade field on the first lap of his warm up race for the upcoming Tour of South Korea and never looked back. Luke Knox crossed the gap on his pat malone two laps in and started working turns with Southam. Midway through the race the lead group swelled to five when Tony Fitzpatrick, Evan Corry and Mark Flood joined Southam and Knox. The chasing group almost shut the breakaway down on the final lap, but the strength of Torpedo Tom was extreme and he blew his fellow escapers away in the finale to easily take the sprint. Tony Fitzpatrick made sure to roll over Luke for 2nd place after travelling from Alice Springs for the race.

B Grade
B Grade raced in a more civilized fashion with no serious attacks coming until late in the event. Tim Bennett proved he still has a killer sprint by showing Justin and Micah Leske a clean pair of heals on the line. Justin secured bragging rights in the Leske household by beating Micah on the line with a late burst burst of power.
